Featuring:
  • AC20 Single-Loop dewpoint or carbon potential atmosphere controller
  • Variable output 12 power supply for lambda probe
  • Lambda probe manifold block with moisture drainage port
  • Coalescing filter
  • Isolating ball valve
  • Control via solenoid valve or proportioning valve
  • 4-20mA output for retransmission of PV if required
  • Process "calibration" available at commissioning with our PGA3500.

In applications which are by nature stable, then trim control is best maintained using a lambda sensor. While the resolution of this probe over a wide carbon potential range is not acceptable for accurate control, it can be a robust, cost effective solution for an endothermic generator, where the total range is well within the performance capabilities of the sensor. It doesn't need a reference/burn-off air supply, and will withstand poor quality gas from badly set up gas/air ratios. Our system includes a ball valve for manual isolation of the sample lines for maintenance, and a 40 micron coalescing filter to protect the sensor assembly and sample lines.

Applications:

  • Modular Endothermic Generator
    • Manifold "sample" lines
    • Allow for condensation drip
    • Manual "shut-off" valves are suggested
  • Sintering/Muffle Furnaces
    • No need for high-temperature probes
    • Fixed sample lines
    • Use natural gas as oxygen "getter"
  • Low-Temperature Applications
    • Nitrogen-based low temperature, Miscellaneous protective atmospheres
    • % Oxygen in residual combustion gases
